GongCamp Hungary 2012
We extend a warm invitation to all who love music and fun to join us on this annual International Gong Family gathering. The meeting is going to be held in Kiskunmajsa, a Hungarian town lying about 100 km south of Budapest from 5th to 10th of June, 2012
We extend a warm invitation to all who love music and fun to join us on this annual International Gong Family gathering. The meeting is going to be held in Kiskunmajsa, a Hungarian town lying about 100 km south of Budapest from 5th to 10th of June, 2012.
A unique place to visit with the whole family for rest and relax. The place we have chosen to hold this event are Hot Springs with an aquatic park, where in addition to our activities, there is a variety of other attractions. This is the same site where we held Gong Camp in 2009 and 2010.
The camp is situated adjacent to the 20 hectares aquatic park. Several accommodation options ranging from a campsite to motel rooms and comfortable wooden lodges are at your disposal. More information on the link below:

We hope this week will be a Great Musical Holiday as well as an enjoyable time spent with your families. It will also be an occasion to meet the foremost Sound Masters who will share their experience of work in various countries. Moreover, numerous experts in different kinds of massages will be ready to answer your questions.
Every day will begin with a Yoga class, then there is a three hour long program with Don Conreaux, Tomek Czartoryski and Abby Delsol. There are optional classes in the afternoon with other members of the teaching faculty, and dance as well as bonfire in the evening.

Annual International Gong Family Gathering
This year we would like to share the Design Sience of Gong Kriya Yoga and the 39 Kriyas, which consists of the sequencing of individual body exercises with breath. All these exercises are simple and easy, designed for anyone to do in any condition or circumstances without any prior preparation necessary. Each exercise follows the Chi Flow through the meridians according to the time of day, stimulating energetic balance throughout our body, physical and emotional. Then you can learn how to follow the ChiOMeter and design set of exercises tailored to your specific needs. This is how we will take care of the physical element. The next area we worked on strongly in the last years is our mental and psychic condition, which we work on through guided meditation (prepared and spontaneous). Moving away from the senses of the outside world we get closer to our emotions and feelings, recognize them and learn how to co-operate with them. In the present time, when we get away from duality and return to our true consciousness (consciousness without judgment – Consciousness of Unity). It is very important that we take care of our mind, and that we consciously create our feelings and thoughts. We will be presenting a few interesting meditations that can be practiced any time and adjusted to your own needs. Spontaneous dance, group singing, singing bowl massage in water, many Gong Baths taking care of our emotions. Needless to say there will be no missing information about the Gong and it society around the world. This meeting is dedicated to all lovers of sound, from the very beginners to the most advanced!

Date: 5 to 10 June 2012 (activities begin 6th June)
Place: Kiskunmajsa, Hungary (about 100km south of Budapest)
Participation fees are divided into the following options:
250 Euro per person – accommodation in a double motel room (additional bed might be provided if necessary) or in a comfortable four person wooden lodge, dinner, entrance to the aquatic park, all classes except classes lead by teaching faculty.
225 Euro- accommodation in a double wooden lodge or on a campsite, dinner, all classes except classes lead by teaching faculty.
40 Euro discount for children up to 18 years of age.
Children up to 3 years of age free of charge.
Workshops cost 120 Euro.

A little about tutors:
Don Conreaux started his career inn 1952 when he was 18, alongside his voice training under Alta Turk Everety. He started playing the gong in 1969, when he was still an actor, director and scriptwriter in Hollywood. Besides, he was also a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Since then Don Conreaux has been given worldwide recognition as the most known gong master and holy sound improvisation teacher.
His Gong Concerts for Mankind and Gong, Bell Bowls and Voice Workshops leave strong imprints in the world. Don has two degrees in the art of theatre. Don’s other half and his musical love is Mysterious Tremendum, a band that gathers improvisers from The New World.
Having recorded numerous albums, nowadays he composes improvised works based on the idea of syntonic music created by a philosopher Dane Rudhyar, who discovered his pianist talent very late. Lately Don has been writing lyrics that later transformed into Seed-Chants. He also works with poets, singers and artists of other sorts teaching them to play the Indian shruti when singing chants.
Tom Soltron Czartoryski – Poland
Has worked with the Gongs for the last 10 years sharing the great possibilities of the Gong in every continent. Has dedicated his life to Sacred Tone Improvisation in constant travel, meeting many musicians from every corner of the globe. Lead hundreds of workshops, seminars and concerts in places such as China, Australia, India, New Zeland, USA, Argentina, Uruguay, Arab Emirate. His centre in Porabka, Poland was opened as the first Gong and Improvisation Centre with Peace Bell Stone Garden in Europe. Since it first opened in 2010, over 300 adepts of sound from all over the world have visited. To discover your inner sound is easy, but to follow it is a daily practice of letting go. As a Musician, Teacher, Father and Partner, Tom has dedicated his life to Sacred Tone Improvisation, helping and inspiring people from around the world to find the way to their heart.
Abby Delsol – Argentina
Grew up in a holistic family dealing with complimentary therapies in the alternative town of El Bolson in the Argentine Andes. Since 2000 using drum rattles and singing began her work with Shamanic techniques helping people connect with their hearts and needs. Precursor since 2003 playing the Gong in Great Britain and Argentina, began her travel with archaic sounds and singing as a tool to get in touch with your intuition, self awareness and self confidence in the great improvisation of life.
Halina Bergerne Wilk
Polish national living in Hungary, student of Don and Tom. On a social, cultural and esoterec level, Halina is the bridge between the Polish and Hungarian. Psychotherapist, Master of Tibetan and other old methods of healing. One of the founding members of the Magong group. For the past six years has worked with Tom organizing workshops and concerts in many places in Hungary.

Began based on inspiration after first GongCamp with Tom in Poland. A great achievement for Europe and maybe even the world. Eight large ladies who play Shaman Drums, Gongs and any instrument you can possibly think of. All very friendly they hold group Gong Baths and Musical Gatherings which is often connected with Natural Therapy.
Alicja Eiliakas and Partner Richard Eiliakas, over the last few years have been walking together in the way of sound. They do Gong Baths, Meditations and Workshops in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Russia. Organizers of different workshops and concerts. Founders of the Studio Art to Be in Vilinus, a space for those who seek inspiration for personal and spiritual development.
Judy Strauus
Professor at Nevada University in Reno, USA. Joyful and friendly being whom Tom met some years ago during a Gong Tour in San Fransisco who presented the experience of sound and effect of sound on the Human from the scientific view. Based on scientific publications and her own experience. For all of those who look for rational and intellectual answers regarding the magical effect of the sound, Judy is the essence.
